8/12... PARAMEDIC INSERVICE
    THERE WILL BE PARAMEDIC INSERVICES SEPTEMBER 2,3 AND 4TH. START TIME WILL BE 0800 HRS EACH DAY. TOPIC TBA. PLEASE PLAN ON ATTENDING. THESE INSERVICES ARE MANDATORY. IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND PLEASE NOTIFY THE TRAINING STAFF AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
8/12... **All Personnel ESOC Required Training**
    All personnel need to view the powerpoint presentation on the forms page under Training titled "EMS Scene Size Up Triage". This presentation is required to fufill your EMT recert hours. Information for completing the training roster is at the beginning of the presentation. Please watch for future presentations,approximately 1 per month, between now and the end of the year. Remember these are required for EMT recert.

7/31... The Run To Remember
    This year, Lexington firefighters are kicking off the 2008 Week of Giving with a 4.03-mile footrace we call The Run to Remember. This race will be held Sept 6, 2008 (3rd Plt)at Coldstream Research Park. In addition to the obvious reference, this race is meant to also commemorate our fellow brothers and sisters, and their families, who sacrifice much in pursuit of their chosen passion including those that have suffered the ultimate sacrifice.

    Proceeds generated from your participation will go to support the work of the University of Kentucky Children's Hospital. You will also have the option of donating 20% of the Registration Fee to either the Kentucky State or the Lexington Fallen Firefighter Memorial (see below).
